This very fine Paul Claudot double bass was made in 1876 in Paris. A great instrument with a powerful sound for orchestra or solo in superb conditions. The back and side of the instrument are made of well selected flamed maple. The two-piece spruce top has medium width grain. The instrument is branded under the button with his name “Paul Claudot”.
